Shipping Policy

1. Shipping Charges

Freight is quoted per consignment rather than added at checkout, because it depends on the weight, the volume and the destination - the same lot can cost very differently to Dubai and to Canada. Nothing is charged for shipping until you have seen and agreed the figure.

• Place the order as usual - shipping shows as zero at that point
• We weigh and measure the packed consignment
• You receive a proforma invoice with the freight charge on it
• The consignment is booked once that invoice is settled

2. Wrong Address or Failed Delivery

Please check the delivery address, the phone number and the company name before you confirm. If a consignment is returned to us because the address was wrong, nobody was available, or the buyer declined to clear customs, the return freight and any storage the carrier charges are payable by the buyer before we can send it out again.

3. Dispatch and Carriers

Orders are processed, checked and packed within 10 to 12 working days of confirmation, then handed to the carrier. Depending on the destination and the weight of the consignment we book with FedEx, DHL, UPS, DPD, Aramex or Speed Post.

4. Estimated Transit Times

Counted from dispatch, not from the order date:

• DHL - 4 to 7 days
• FedEx - 5 to 7 days
• Aramex - 8 to 12 days
• DPD - 10 to 14 days
• Speed Post - 14 to 19 days

5. Packing and Documents

Every consignment is packed for the journey it has to make:

• Goods are wrapped in moisture-resistant packing before boxing
• Each lot is labelled with the design name and quantity
• Invoice and packing list travel inside the consignment
• Export documentation is prepared for you where the destination needs it

6. Tracking

The carrier name and tracking number are sent to you on the day of dispatch, by email and on WhatsApp. If tracking has not moved for several days, message us and we will chase the carrier from our side.

7. United States - Import Tariff

Goods entering the United States carry an import tariff. On consignments to the US we charge 25%, calculated on the value of the goods and shown on your proforma invoice alongside the freight. Nothing further is added by us.

• The figure is confirmed on your proforma invoice before you pay anything
• Tariff rates are set by the US authorities and can change - ask us for the current position before you order
• This applies to the United States only; every other destination is covered below

8. Customs Duty and Local Taxes

Apart from the United States tariff above, VV Textile does not collect customs duty, VAT, GST, import tariffs or any destination-specific tax. Those are set by the authorities in your country and are the buyer's responsibility.

• Any duty, tariff, VAT or GST levied on arrival is payable by you
• Transit estimates above do not include time held at customs
• Ask us before ordering and we will tell you what buyers in your country usually pay
